Job summary

Brown Recruitment Services on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Site/Project Manager to lead luxury home projects from inception to completion. This full-time role is site-based, overseeing four bespoke homes valued at about $4M each, with emphasis on delivering quality, safety, and timely execution.

You will manage project delivery, coordinate subcontractors and stakeholders, and ensure budgets and specifications are met while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in construction project or site management on bespoke luxury homes.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction methods, materials, regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership and experience managing diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all construction activities on assigned projects to ensure compliance with project schedules and budgets
• Manage project teams including subcontractors, suppliers and site staff, providing clear direction and maintaining high performance standards
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders, identifying and addressing any deviations from plan
• Ensure all health, safety and environmental regulations are adhered to across the project site, conducting regular inspections and toolbox meetings
• Manage project budgets, control costs and track expenditures to ensure projects remain financially viable
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction
• Review and approve quality standards of work, materials and installations to guarantee compliance with specifications
• Resolve disputes, manage risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate project challenges
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, permits, insurance and compliance records

Brown Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Site/Project Manager to join our client's team on the Gold Coast, Queensland. This is a full-time position that offers a significant opportunity to lead and oversee luxury homes projects from inception through to completion. As Site/Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the construction industry and directly contributes to the success of our business operations. This role will be site based managing the construction and the client on luxury home project (4 x in total) with values of $4m per home. Due to the high-end nature of these homes, we are looking for someone who has previously managed new build high homes of this value. You will have experience setting the program and managing the delivery of this work, therefore previous site and project management experience is desired.

What we're looking for

5+ years' experience in construction project or site management working on bespoke luxury homes.

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations and safety standards applicable to Australian construction

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing diverse teams

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications

Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Gold Coast region

Relevant qualifications such as a Construction Management degree, Diploma in Building/Construction or trade qualification

Current First Aid certification and ideally a White Card (Construction Induction Card) or equivalent

QBCC Supervisor Licence is required
