Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking an experienced civil engineer for the Snowy 2.0 project as a Project Engineer. You will lead on-site FRP work, ensure QA/QC processes, and manage contractor activities to deliver high-quality civil works on a large-scale renewable project.

You will be the on-ground eyes and ears, reading IFC drawings, coordinating with engineers and construction teams, and upholding Snowy values in a dynamic FIFO environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree meeting Engineers Australia corporate membership eligibility.
• Extensive FRP experience with formwork, reinforcement and pour sequences.
• Ability to read and interpret structural scopes, technical specifications, and IFC drawings.
• Strong stakeholder management to supervise external contractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FRP sequences on site, manage critical Witness and Hold points, review ITPs and ensure pours meet design and quality specs.
• Uphold health and safety standards on site and model Snowy Values.
• Oversee contractor activities to prevent delays and ensure asset performs as designed.
• Own the on-site QA process for civil works, review IFC drawings and maintain top-tier documentation.
• Spot discrepancies in site documents and work with Construction Manager for immediate solutions.
