Job summary

Metricon Homes, Australia''s largest home builder, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site operations across Tweed Heads and surrounding suburbs. You will manage trades, coordinate schedules, ensure quality finishes and OH&S compliance, and deliver defect-free homes for our customers.

Your proven track record in residential construction, strong communication, and ability to drive production while maintaining tight cost control will help you succeed in this vibrant region.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE experience as a Site Manager with the residential building industry.
• Experience writing frames and scheduling materials/trades hitting site.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated project management and organisational skills.
• Solid understanding of OH&S regulations and quality assurance systems.
• The ability to build trusted relationships with trades, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Experience managing client expectations and resolving issues professionally.
• Knowledge of new home contracts and construction documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for clients during the build stage of the project and be responsible for the overall execution and quality finish of homes
• Managing the overall site performance of our home construction process
• Partner with your Construction Manager and go through each of your jobs on your Clickhomes and be supportive to you
• Maximising site production by ensuring sub contract trade availability
• Scheduling and meeting trades on site
• Proactively resolving build issues, liaising with your customers
• Continuously reviewing building practices and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with and delivery of established cost management and project management practices
• Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount
• Ensure build qualities are to the highest standard; and
• Hand over your customer's keys and settlement pack. No better feeling.
