Job summary

Proactive Technical Recruitment – Sydney NSW is seeking a Site Supervisor for warehouse automation projects. You will coordinate installation, commissioning, and on-site engineering activities on large capital projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality.

This is a 6–12 month full-time fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension. You will manage sub-contractors, liaise with clients and builders, and oversee QA inspections to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager on large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background.
• Technical knowledge of material handling equipment advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of WHSE requirements.
• Proven team leadership experience.
• Availability to travel interstate as required.

• Preparing and reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations
• Liaising with clients, direct builders, and sub-contractors
• Promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification, and safety management across OH&S and environmental requirements
• Sourcing necessary materials and resources
• Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of installed equipment
• Day-to-day management of sub-contractors
• Coordinating regular quality assurance inspections
• Ensuring safe installation procedures are followed

With a strong pipeline of projects across Australia, they are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their Project Delivery team.

The Role

This is a 6-12 month full-time fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. You will coordinate installation, commissioning, and engineering activities on site, ensuring large-scale automation projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities
