Job summary

Dematic Australia is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Project Delivery team. You will coordinate installation, commissioning and on-site engineering for large-scale warehouse automation projects across Australia and New Zealand on a fixed-term contract (18 months).

Based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, you will lead subcontractors, review drawings, ensure safety, quality and timely delivery, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to bring complex automation systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background.
• Technical knowledge of material handling equipment would be an advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of WHSE requirements.
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• Proven team leadership skills.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office products.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Availability to travel and work interstate and overseas (APAC region).
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations.
• Liaising with clients, direct builders and sub-contractors.
• Proactively promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Obtaining necessary materials and resources.
• Organising and supervising the inspection and maintenance of the installed equipment.
• Day to day management of sub-contractors.
• Coordinating regular inspection of works for quality assurance.
