Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee large capital warehouse automation installations on a 18-month fixed-term contract. You will coordinate installation, commissioning, and engineering activities on site, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality across APAC projects.

You will lead a team, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and promote safety and efficiency. The role requires strong communication, trade background, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor / Manager installing large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background.
• Technical knowledge of material handling equipment (advantage).
• Thorough knowledge of WHSE requirements.
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• Proven team leadership skills.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office products.
• Availability to travel interstate and overseas (APAC region) when required.

• Prepare and review drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations.
• Liaise with clients, direct builders and sub-contractors.
• Promote innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety, and the Environment.
• Obtain necessary materials and resources.
• Organise and supervise inspection and maintenance of installed equipment.
• Day‑to‑day management of sub‑contractors.
• Coordinate regular inspection of works for quality assurance.
• Implement commissioning.
• Ensure safe installation procedures.

Opportunity
