Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions seeks an experienced Site Manager for the Woolooga BESS site in Queensland. You will be the on-site interface for field operations, contractors and the O&M function, leading daily activities and safeguarding asset performance.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, an Electrical Licence, and at least 2 years in site management within renewables or construction. CMMS experience is essential; MEX exposure is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Admin, Engineering Management or similar).
• Valid, unrestricted Electrical Licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Site Management, preferably in renewables or construction with BESS exposure preferred.
• Experience using CMMS for BESS or similar asset maintenance; MEX exposure is desirable.

• Lead day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Woolooga BESS site, including preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Coordinate contractors, OEMs and site personnel, managing work orders, maintenance activities and priorities through the CMMS.
• Lead site operations across BESS, Solar PV, HV substation and SCADA systems; monitor asset performance, constraints and network requirements.
• Manage and develop on-site personnel, including rostering, performance management and oversight of the Electrical Technician.
• Drive safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the site, working with HSSE to improve reliability and efficiency.

As our Australian operations continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team at the Woolooga BESS site in Queensland. Reporting to the O&M Manager, this is a hands-on leadership opportunity to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a major renewable energy asset, working across BESS, Solar PV, HV substation and SCADA systems.

About The Role

As Site Manager, you'll be the primary on-site interface between field operations, contractors, network operators and the central O&M function. You'll lead daily site activities, coordinate maintenance programs, manage work orders through the CMMS and oversee site personnel and maintenance subcontractors.

This is a key operational leadership role, responsible for maintaining asset performance, compliance and operational excellence while supporting the successful long-term performance of the Woolooga BESS project.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Woolooga BESS site, including preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Coordinate contractors, OEMs and site personnel, managing work orders, maintenance activities and operational priorities through the CMMS.
• Lead site operations across BESS, Solar PV, HV substation and SCADA systems, monitoring asset performance, constraints and network requirements.
• Manage and develop on-site personnel, including rostering, performance management and direct oversight of the Electrical Technician.
• Drive safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the site, working closely with HSSE and identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and operational performance.

About You

We're looking for an experienced site leader who combines strong operational capability with a proactive approach to safety, asset performance and stakeholder management. You will have:

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management or a related field.
• A valid, unrestricted Electrical Licence and experience in utility-scale Solar PV, BESS or HV operations.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Site Management, preferably within renewable energy or construction, with BESS experience highly regarded.
• Experience using a CMMS for BESS or similar asset maintenance, with MEX exposure desirable.
• Strong safety, leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage contractors.
