Job summary

Red Wolf Construction is seeking a Site Lead / Leading Hand for commercial construction and remediation projects in the Sydney area. This is a hands-on role where you’ll run on-site activity, coordinate trades, manage materials, and keep projects moving while working closely with the Director and project team.

The role suits a trade-qualified carpenter or capable all-rounder who wants greater site responsibility rather than a pure management position.

We’re looking for aSite Lead / Leading Handwho is a genuine construction all-rounder with the drive and capability to take ownership on site.

You don't need to have spent years working as a Site Manager.Attitude, initiative, practical ability and willingness to develop are just as important to us as years of experience.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll help run projects on the ground while still beingactively involved in getting the work completed. One day you might be coordinating subcontractors and dealing with a client; the next you could be setting out works, organising materials or jumping on the tools to keep the project moving.

You’ll coordinate trades and subcontractors, manage day-to-day site activities, organise materials and deliveries, maintain safety and quality standards and work closely with the Director and project team.

Our projects are primarily focused oncommercial, remediation and selected residential works sub $2Mthroughout Sydney, with our Business based in Parramatta/Hills District.

This role would particularly suit atrade-qualified carpenter or capable construction all-rounder who is ready to step into greater site responsibility, rather than someone looking for a traditional management only position.

There is genuine opportunity todevelop into a larger role within RWC as the business continues to grow.

About You

• Good understanding of WHS and site compliance




• Strong communication and organisational skills




• Ability to read drawings, scopes and construction documentation




• Certificate IV in Building & Construction advantageous,but not essential




• EWP over 11madvantageous but not essential




• Current ABN – sole trader or company




• Current trade/public liability insurance




• White Card




• Own reliable trade vehicle and tools
