Job summary

SHEETH is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to lead day-to-day on-site operations for commercial fit-out projects across Retail, Office, Hospitality, and Medical sectors in NSW. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will drive the construction program, enforce quality, safety, and environmental standards, and coordinate with the Contracts Administrator and Leading Hand.

You will read and interpret drawings, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects meet Australian Standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years local experience in a Site Foreman role.
• Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and on-site workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day on-site operations and coordinate activities for commercial fit-out projects.
• Ensure construction works meet Australian Standards and project specifications.
• Implement and maintain quality control and QSE systems on site.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to optimise productivity.
• Coordinate design information on-site with approved drawings.
• Travel interstate to project sites as required.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Foreman to join our passionate team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead day-to-day on-site operations, manage and drive the construction program, and ensure high standards of quality and workmanship. You will work closely with a dedicated Contracts Administrator and Leading Hand to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day on-site operations and coordinate daily activities for commercial fit-out projects across Retail, Office, Hospitality, and Medical sectors
• Ensure all construction works are delivered in compliance with Australian Standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements
• Implement, monitor, and maintain robust quality control processes to achieve high standards of workmanship
• Manage and enforce QSE (Quality, Safety, and Environmental) systems, ensuring full site compliance at all times
• Establish, manage, and maintain efficient site operations from project commencement through completion
• Manage construction programs and schedules, coordinating trades to achieve key milestones
• Coordinate design information on-site and ensure alignment with approved drawings and project requirements
• Effectively manage subcontractors and suppliers to optimise productivity and performance
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Travel interstate to project sites as required to support project delivery and business operations
