Job summary

Harrison Barratt Group is seeking a Site Foreman to own two luxury residential projects in the Point Piper area, reporting directly to the directors. You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate trades, and maintain a high standard of finish.

Two projects are running concurrently: a $6M renovation and an $18M new build. You will be hands-on, with direct client contact, and responsible for safety, quality and handover until completion.

Qualifications

• Carpentry background is non-negotiable.
• Proven experience running high-end residential sites (A$5M+).
• Background with an Eastern Suburbs luxury/architectural builder.
• Hands-on approach to keep the job moving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of two sites from demolition to handover.
• Coordinate trades, suppliers and consultants to programme.
• Work directly with clients, architects and interior designers.
• Ensure quality control and defect management to a luxury finish standard.
• Uphold site safety, inductions and WHS compliance.
• Take handover of the Point Piper project from the outgoing foreman.

Job description

Our client is a licensed Eastern Suburbs builder delivering luxury residential projects across the harbourside suburbs. They are a small, hands-on operation where the directors are directly involved in every build, and they are looking for a Site Foreman to take ownership of two projects running side by side.

The first is a $6M architect-designed renovation currently underway in Point Piper. The second is an $18M new build starting shortly. You would run both, reporting directly to the two directors with no layer in between.

This is not a volume role. It is one person, two high value sites, full ownership from where the job sits now through to handover.

What the role involves

• Day to day running of both sites, from the current demolition phase through to completion
• Coordinating trades, suppliers and consultants to programme
• Working directly with the clients, architects and interior designers
• Quality control and defect management to a luxury finish standard
• Site safety, inductions and WHS compliance
• Taking a handover of the Point Piper job from the outgoing foreman

What our client is looking for

• Carpentry trade background, non-negotiable
• Proven experience running high end residential sites, ideally $5M plus
• Background with an Eastern Suburbs luxury or architectural residential builder
• Comfortable being hands-on when it keeps the job moving
• Strong on detail and finishes, and confident dealing directly with private clients
• Based in or near the Eastern Suburbs, as both sites are close together
