Job summary

Astute Constructions is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team and support a portfolio of high-end Class 2 residential developments. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and Site Engineer to ensure programme milestones, quality, and safety standards are achieved on site.

The right candidate will have at least five years in residential construction, strong leadership and coordination skills, White Card, and proficiency with Procore or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and trade coordination.
• White Card and relevant site management certifications essential.
• Experience using Procore, MS Project or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, and trades.
• Coordinate multiple work fronts and maintain site productivity.
• Liaise daily with the Project Team.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and Class 2 regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on programme, quality, safety and site documentation.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed site records.
• Mentor junior site staff and promote a high-performance culture.

About the Role

This is a site-based role managing the day-to-day operations of a Class 2 residential project. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and Site Engineer to ensure programme milestones, quality, and safety standards are achieved. The ideal candidate will be confident managing multiple trades and work zones simultaneously.

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential construction
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and trade coordination
• Familiarity with Class 2 requirements under the DBP Act
• Strong leadership, communication, and site management skills
• White Card and relevant site management certifications essential
• Experience using Procore, MS Project or similar systems
