Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the site-based team for the Chevron Gorgon brownfields construction scope in Perth. You will manage QA/QC inputs and ensure project quality outcomes and regulatory compliance on site.

You will review work packs, support audits, and liaise with Chevron, contractors and execution teams to deliver safe, timely scope completion across design to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
• Minimum 5 years experience in oil & gas or similar industry.
• Working knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering drawings interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering and QA/QC inputs & outputs to achieve Quality outcomes.
• Review and verify work packs for accuracy, completion and compliance.
• Support QA/QC audits, inspections and quality reporting.
• Assist with NCRs and hazardous area deliverables.
• Liaise with Chevron, subcontractors and UGL team to develop good working relationships.
• Ensure timely quality reporting to client and site leadership.
• Input to scopes of work to ensure quality delivery from design to completion.
