Job summary

Fleetwood Australia is seeking an experienced Site Estimator to price site works, transport and installation packages for modular construction projects at our Perth facility. You will review tender docs, drawings and specifications to develop accurate estimates and cost plans, coordinating with internal teams to ensure competitive pricing from tender through handover.

You will prepare RFQs, evaluate subcontractor quotations and apply first-principles estimating to identify cost-saving

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing tender docs, specs and drawings for estimates.
• Ability to price site works, transport and installation packages for modular projects.
• Experience preparing RFQs and evaluating subcontractor quotations.
• Competence in first-principles estimating and cost optimisation opportunities.
• Ability to assess risks and cost impacts during estimating.
• Strong collaboration with Design, Sales, Projects and Manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

Fleetwood is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Estimator to join our team at our Perth Airport facility in High Wycombe.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing accurate and competitive pricing for site works, transport and installation packages across a variety of modular construction projects. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll help deliver well-costed, commercially sound solutions that support successful project outcomes from tender through to handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong construction estimating background who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, solving problems and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

About You

• Previous estimating experience within construction, civil works, building services or modular construction
• Strong understanding of site construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery processes
• The ability to interpret architectural, engineering and construction drawings
• Knowledge of transport requirements and Australian transport compliance standards
• Experience using estimating software such as CostX or similar platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A high level of organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
