Job summary

Built is delivering a Marsden Park data centre project and seeking a Site Engineer to support day-to-day delivery on site. You will coordinate with project engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure drawings and quality standards are met on time.

You will review drawings, manage RFIs, inspections and documentation while tracking materials and logistics to keep the program on track and promote safe practices on site.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Approx 3–5 years of experience in a commercial construction environment.
• Understanding of construction sequencing, drawings and quality standards.
• Strong organisation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Aconex, MS Project or Primavera.

Job description

This is where you take the next step as a Site Engineer. At Built, you will help deliver key parts of our Marsden Park data centre project, solve real problems on site and build your capability with an experienced team that backs you to succeed.

The Opportunity

As a Site Engineer, you will support day-to-day delivery on our Marsden Park data centre project. Working with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants, you will coordinate technical, quality and safety requirements so construction activities are completed in line with drawings, specifications and project timelines.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers onsite, track progress and raise issues early.
• Review technical drawings, identify discrepancies and support the resolution of RFIs and site-based queries.
• Complete site inspections, quality checks and project documentation to support compliant, high-quality delivery.
• Track materials, logistics and lead times, confirming deliveries meet project requirements.
• Work closely with the wider project team to maintain safe work practices and keep key activities moving to program.

What We Are Looking For

• You are a proactive, solution-focused engineer who combines attention to detail with a genuine willingness to learn. You communicate clearly, take ownership of your work and enjoy collaborating with site teams to achieve practical outcomes.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Approx 3-5 years of experience in a commercial construction environment, ideally supporting high-value or technically complex projects.
• A sound understanding of construction sequencing, technical drawings and quality standards.
• Strong organisation, time management and written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management systems such as Aconex, MS Project or Primavera.
