Job summary

Built is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator for data centre projects in Marsden Park, Sydney. You will lead commercial packages, drive cost outcomes, manage risk and support project delivery with project leaders and site teams.

You will own contract administration, procurement, cost control, and financial reporting across key work packages, with a focus on maintaining strong commercial governance and relationships to ensure milestones are met.

As a Senior Contract Administrator at Built, you’ll take ownership of key commercial packages, working closely with experienced project leaders to drive cost outcomes, manage risk, and influence project delivery across high‑profile, technically complex builds.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Contract Administrator, you’ll play a critical role in the commercial success of our data centre projects — leading the management of contracts, cost, and risk across key work packages.

You’ll work closely with Project Managers and site teams, providing commercial guidance, driving procurement and financial outcomes, and supporting the broader team to deliver at pace.

In this role, you will:

• Lead trade scoping, procurement, and subcontractor negotiations

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Contract Administrator who can confidently own the commercial function for key packages — someone with strong commercial acumen, the ability to influence outcomes, and a track record of delivering successful project results.

You’ll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar
• Around 5+ years’ post‑graduate experience in commercial or contract administration roles
• Strong experience across procurement, cost control, contract management, and financial reporting
• Ability to interpret contracts, manage claims, and navigate commercial risk with confidence
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and contribute to high‑performing project teams
