Job summary

Built is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our data centre projects in Marsden Park, NSW. You’ll work with Project Managers, Engineers and Site teams to manage cost, contracts and commercial risk while ensuring strong contractual outcomes.

You’ll bring a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar and 5–7+ years in similar roles, with a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset and collaborative approach to cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Contract Administrator or similar role (5–7+ years).
• Foundational knowledge of cost management, contract administration and commercial processes.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving mindset.

The Opportunity

As a Contract Administrator, you’ll play a key role in the commercial success of our data centre projects — supporting the team to manage cost, mitigate risk, and deliver strong contractual outcomes.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Site teams, you’ll contribute to the end-to-end commercial process while continuing to build your experience in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.

In this role, you will:

• Support trade scoping, procurement and subcontractor engagement
• Measure and value works, including progress claims and variations
• Assist with cost control, forecasting and financial reporting
• Interpret contracts and support administration of contractual obligations
• Contribute to managing commercial risk and resolving project challenges
  

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a Contract Administrator who has built a solid foundation early in their career and is ready to step up — someone motivated to develop their commercial acumen while learning from experienced project and commercial leaders.

You’ll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar
• Experience in a Contract Administrator or similar role (typically 5-7+ years)
• Foundational knowledge of cost management, contract administration and commercial processes
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across project teams
