Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer for a major renewable energy project with a Tier 1 contractor. The role focuses on day-to-day site engineering, subcontractor coordination, and FRP/concrete package delivery on a 2/1 FIFO roster in Queensland.

Immediate start for a hands-on Civil Engineer with 2–3 years' post-graduate experience in Australia. Applicants should have a Civil Engineering degree, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced project team environment.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree
• 2-3 years' post-graduate experience in Australia
• Proven experience delivering major concrete/structural packages
• Strong site-based engineering experience
• Experience managing or coordinating subcontractors
• Availability to commence within 1 week

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors and support delivery of major concrete packages
• Day-to-day site engineering and technical duties
• Coordinate FRP works from formwork and reinforcement through to concrete pours
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Monitor construction progress, quality and compliance
• Work closely with Supervisors, Project Engineers and the project team
• Resolve technical and construction issues on site
• Support project delivery in a fast-paced construction environment
