Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer for a FIFO 2/1 roster on a major defence base upgrade project. The role involves coordinating daily site engineering activities, planning, QA/QC, and supervising concrete works in a fast-paced environment. Flights from major Australian airports are provided.

Reporting to a Senior Project Engineer, you will support delivery from planning through to handover, with above-market base salary and a 2/1 FIFO roster offering family-friendly commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years post-graduate experience in civil/construction engineering.
• Proven experience delivering projects with self-perform FRP works.
• Background working with a Tier 2/3 contractor or specialist subcontractor.
• Strong technical and coordination skills across concrete packages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based FIFO environment.
• Must be an Australian Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day site engineering activities.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and documentation is maintained.
• Oversee subcontractor and self-perform concrete works.
• Order concrete and materials.
• Oversee concrete pours.
• Contribute to project delivery from inception through to final handover.
