Job summary

CGC Recruitment seeks experienced Site Engineers and Project Engineers for a bulk earthworks project on a major mine site. This 6-month contract features an 8/6 FIFO roster from Sydney Airport with above-market rates and exposure to a flagship mining project.

You will handle day-to-day site and project engineering tasks, including set-out, reporting, cost control, QA, and coordination with subcontractors to deliver safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer.
• 2-10 years' experience in civil construction.
• Strong bulk earthworks experience essential.
• Mining experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Set-out, survey coordination, and quantity tracking.
• Daily production reporting and progress claims.
• Cost control, scheduling support, and forecasting.
• QA documentation, ITPs, and compliance.
• Coordination with supervisors, operators, and subcontractors.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to program.
