Job summary

Georgiou is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join our Sunshine Coast projects on a FIFO 2 weeks on/1 week off roster, supporting rail and major civil works.

You will plan fronts, manage subcontractors, ensure QA/QC, and handle inspections, RFIs, permits, and daily progress reporting. A Civil Engineering degree and 2–5 years' site experience are preferred. White Card and ability to work on site across Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical or construction engineering.
• 2–5 years site engineering experience on rail, transport, civil or major building projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and construction programs.
• Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan assigned work fronts with methodology, staging, access, and inspections.
• Prepare and maintain work packs, inspection docs, permits, and completion evidence.
• Coordinate daily activities with Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Monitor productivity and material consumption to forecast needs.
• Maintain accurate site diaries, photos, and as-built records.
• Build constructive relationships with frontline crews and engineers.
