Job summary

CGC Recruitment invites an experienced Site Engineer for a major bulk earthworks project on a large-scale mine site. The role is a 2-3 month contract with an 8/6 FIFO roster from Sydney Airport, offering market day rates and the opportunity to contribute to a flagship mining project.

Key duties include set-out, survey coordination, quantity tracking, daily production reporting, QA documentation, and coordination with site teams to ensure delivery safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer.
• 2+ years of experience in civil construction.
• Strong foundations, sub-grade, pavements and culverts experience essential.
• Mining experience highly regarded.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Set-out, survey coordination, and quantity tracking.
• Daily production reporting and progress claims.
• QA documentation, ITPs, and compliance.
• Coordinate with supervisors, operators and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to program.
