Job summary

Offaly Civil Engineering (OCE) is seeking a Site Engineer to be based in Gympie to support quality management, client reporting and project planning across the Wide Bay and Southeast Queensland regions.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, is proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook, understands the Australian civil construction industry, and holds a valid driver’s license with a willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Solid knowledge of the Australian civil construction industry; water/sewer project experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Site-based Quality Management including Inspection & Test Plans.
• Liaising with clients on progress and problem resolution.
• Assisting project management with job costing, reporting, planning, and programming.
• Materials procurement and control.
• Assist in implementing Quality, Safety & Environmental processes to meet legislative requirements.
• Providing estimating and quantity surveying support.
• Producing and collating site documentation.
