Job summary

Freyssinet Australia is seeking a Site Engineer to join our Civil team in Brisbane, supporting specialist infrastructure and structural projects across Queensland and interstate.

You will plan, coordinate and deliver a variety of works with a mix of site-based and office-based responsibilities, taking ownership of smaller projects while contributing to larger teams.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4+ years' experience within civil, structural or construction environments.
• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Strong practical site knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and working directly with clients.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong computer and project administration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of project outcomes.
• Willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver small-scale projects from start to finish.
• Liaise with clients, site personnel and subcontractors.
• Assist with project programming, scheduling and reporting.
• Coordinate labour, equipment and materials.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification.

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing Civil team in Brisbane, supporting a range of specialist infrastructure and structural projects across Queensland and interstate.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Management team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a variety of specialist civil and structural works. The role offers a combination of site-based and office-based responsibilities and will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Projects typically involve:

• Post-tensioning works
• Grouting operations
• Jacking activities
• Temporary works solutions
• Specialist civil and structural maintenance projects

You will manage smaller projects independently while providing support on larger, more complex projects as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Location & Travel
