Job summary

Offaly Civil Engineering is seeking an experienced Civil Pipe Layer for immediate start on projects in the Gympie area. The role requires civil construction experience, preferably with water and sewer projects, and tickets for excavator, dogman, and confined spaces.

A valid driver's license and commitment to safety are essential. Ideal candidates will have pumpstation and mechanical pipework experience, with tickets for excavator/loader/skid steer.

Qualifications

• Prior experience within the civil construction industry, ideally working across water and sewer projects or similar.
• Confined space, working at Heights, Excavator and Dogman qualifications / tickets will be highly regarded.
• Experience in pumpstation construction and mechanical pipework installation highly regarded.
• Strong Commitment to Health & Safety.
• Versatile candidate with excavator / loader / skid steer tickets experience highly regarded.

What we need

Due to consistent and targeted growth with a strong pipeline local work into 2026/2027, the business is now seeking to employ an experienced Civil Pipe layer for immediate start on projects in the Gympie area.

The successful candidate must possess the following skills;

Prior experience within the civil construction industry, ideally working across water and sewer projects or similar.

Confined space, working at Heights, Excavator and Dogman qualifications / tickets will be highly regarded.

Experience in pumpstation construction and mechanical pipework installation highly regarded.

Strong Commitment to Health & Safety.

Versatile candidate with excavator / loader / skid steer tickets experience highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will have:

Sound knowledge of the Australian Civil construction industry.

Previous experience working on Water and Sewer projects.

A Driver's License is a must.
