Job summary

• Strong knowledge of installation and commissioning processes for mechanical services.
• Healthcare project experience is essential and highly regarded.
• Confident stakeholder management and clear communication style.

Responsibilities

• Manage design coordination and support the delivery team with engineering input.
• Raise and track RFIs, technical queries, and submittals.
• Support procurement planning and package tracking.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and commissioning teams.
• Provide technical oversight of installation methodologies including chilled water, heating hot water, ventilation, and BMS interfaces.
• Maintain QA/compliance, documentation, and site reporting.

The OpportunityJoin a delivery-focused project team responsible for the successful execution of a large-scale mechanical services package. This role suits a technically strong Site Engineer who can manage the day-to-day engineering function on site and drive outcomes across quality, programme, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage design coordination and support the delivery team with engineering input
• Raise and track RFIs, technical queries, and submittals
• Support procurement planning and package tracking
• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and commissioning teams

• Provide technical oversight across installation methodologies including:

  • Chilled water and heating hot water
  • Ventilation systems
  • BMS interfaces
  • Medical support systems and associated services
• Maintain strong focus on QA/compliance, documentation, and site reporting
• Proactively identify and resolve construction/design issues
• Communicate effectively with consultants, builders, and client reps

About You

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
• Proven site-based delivery experience across HVAC / mechanical services projects
• Healthcare project experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of mechanical services installation and commissioning processes
• Confident stakeholder management and clear communication style
• Experience in live hospital environments or other critical infrastructure (highly regarded)
