Fetch Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer (Mechanical Services / HVAC) for a major healthcare project in Cairns, QLD. This on-site, permanent role targets candidates who are local or willing to relocate to join a delivery-focused team on a site-based assignment.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day engineering functions on site, coordinate design input, drive QA/compliance, and support procurement and subcontractor activities to ensure project milestones are met in a live

Qualifications

• Proven site-based delivery experience on HVAC/mechanical services projects.
• Strong knowledge of installation and commissioning processes for mechanical services.
• Healthcare project experience is essential and highly regarded.
• Confident stakeholder management and clear communication style.

Responsabilités

• Manage design coordination and support the delivery team with engineering input.
• Raise and track RFIs, technical queries, and submittals.
• Support procurement planning and package tracking.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and commissioning teams.
• Provide technical oversight of installation methodologies including chilled water, heating hot water, ventilation, and BMS interfaces.
• Maintain QA/compliance, documentation, and site reporting.
