Job summary

A leading data centre company is seeking a Senior Design Engineer – Electrical to lead the design and optimisation of electrical systems in North Sydney. This role involves mentoring junior engineers and collaborating on mission-critical power systems. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in data centre environments. Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering, with 5 years in data centre environments.
• Understanding of critical cooling systems and their integration with electrical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, review, and optimisation of electrical systems for data centres.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical excellence.
• Produce max demand calculations and oversee design development.
