Job summary

b-g in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Site Civil Supervisor for a Battery Energy Storage System project in the Riverina region. You will lead front-line crews and run the site day to day, coordinating with the PM to stay on program.

This on-site role requires hands-on supervision of bulk earthworks, pit and pipe, and footing construction, with emphasis on safety, quality records, and field reporting. There is a clear path to Construction Manager within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Very strong, hands-on experience in bulk earthworks, pit and pipe, and footing construction.
• Proven site supervision of civil crews, plant operators and subcontractors.
• Experience managing heavy haulage and high-volume truck movements.
• Strong grasp of construction sequencing, drawings, specifications and ITPs.
• Confident using tablets and digital field reporting.

Responsibilities

• Site leadership: run daily pre-starts, allocate labour, plant and subcontractors to keep crews productive.
• Civil delivery: supervise earthworks, access roads and footings to IFC drawings and ITPs.
• Program and records: track progress, diaries and timesheets, capture client directions.
• Safety: lead SWMS, permits and toolbox talks, manage plant-people interface and stop unsafe work.
