Job summary

Diligent Group Australia is seeking an experienced Site Boilermaker for structural steel projects across South East Queensland. You will work on-site, reading drawings and performing erection, installation and fabrication tasks with welding in MMA, FCAW and TIG as required.

Join a busy team delivering large-scale structures with a strong project pipeline and immediate start. Brisbane and Gold Coast locations available, with emphasis on safety and quality on all sites.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent.
• Proven site-based structural steel experience.
• Strong welding capability.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• EWP ticket highly regarded.
• Construction White Card.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Reliable transport and ability to travel between project sites.

Responsibilities

• Structural steel installation and erection.
• Site welding and fabrication.
• MMA, FCAW and TIG welding where required.
• Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Steel set-out and installation.
• Modification and rectification work.
• Working from EWPs and elevated work areas.
• Coordinating with riggers, crane crews, supervisors and other trades.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Diligent Group Australia is recruiting experienced Site Boilermakers for an established construction and engineering business delivering structural steel projects across South East Queensland.

This role suits a boilermaker who is confident on site, can work from drawings, and has strong experience across steel erection, installation and site fabrication.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Structural steel installation and erection

• Site welding and fabrication

• MMA, FCAW and TIG welding where required

• Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings

• Steel set-out and installation

• Modification and rectification work

• Working from EWPs and elevated work areas

• Coordinating with riggers, crane crews, supervisors and other trades

• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality
