Job summary

Planned Resources in rural Victoria is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a substation construction project for a leading EPC contractor specialising in major transmission and distribution infrastructure.

This site-based role requires coordinating electrical, civil and structural works, driving safety, schedule and budget performance, and managing client and stakeholder expectations on a flexible roster.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of project management experience in transmission and distribution or broader energy infrastructure.
• Strong electrical background with knowledge of civil and structural works.
• Proven experience in EPC contracting for substations.
• Ability to work in a rural, site-based environment with strong stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site-based delivery of substation construction works from mobilisation through to completion.
• Manage programme, cost, quality, and safety across all work fronts.
• Coordinate electrical, civil, and structural scopes of work.
• Act as the key point of contact for client and stakeholder management.
• Oversee subcontractors and supply chain to ensure smooth project progression.
• Identify and resolve risks and issues proactively to avoid project delays.
• Support commissioning activities and project close-out.
