Qualifications

• Experience leading cost estimates and tender submissions for HV substations.
• Ability to review drawings and tender docs for accurate pricing.
• Proven supplier and subcontractor engagement for quotations.
• Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Experience with estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for HV substation and utility projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to develop pricing.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor engagement to obtain quotations.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering initiatives.
• Maintain estimating databases, schedules of rates and benchmarking data.
• Prepare project schedules, pre-contract documentation and cost reports.
• Participate in tender briefings, bid reviews and commercial negotiations.
• Review and sign off technical, commercial and financial aspects of major bids.
