Job summary

Warrikal are looking for a motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to advance their career in the WA mining and resources industry. You will support project delivery, collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Teams, Clients and Contractors, and contribute to planning, execution, procurement, QA and safety compliance.

This role is ideal for an engineer seeking to build site-based experience in mechanical systems within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in mining/resources/construction/heavy industry is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements and Australian Standards.
• Support project control activities including scheduling, forecasting and progress tracking.
• Undertake procurement, inspection and expediting for project materials/equipment.
• Assist in managing subcontractor quotations, scopes and invoicing processes.
• Support project manager with quality management systems and objectives.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts of work and tender docs.
• Perform site engineering activities with focus on safety and operational excellence.
