Job summary

Eight Recruitment is seeking a site-based Contracts Administrator to join our NSW-based construction team. You will work alongside the Project Manager and site crew, owning subcontract administration, procurement scopes, tendering, and cost reporting to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires approximately 5+ years in commercial construction CA, with strong organisation, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years in commercial construction CA experience.
• Experience with subcontract administration, procurement, variations and cost reporting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract and head contract administration.
• Develop scopes and run subcontract procurement.
• Call, assess and compare tenders.
• Prepare and issue subcontract documentation.
• Manage variations, back charges and subcontractor claims.
• Support cost reporting, budgets and forecasting.
• Maintain procurement schedules and commercial registers.
• Keep project documentation and compliance on track.
• Work closely with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Support the PM across the commercial delivery of the project.
