Job summary

Hearth Australia is hiring a Disability Support Worker for a part-time role in Mooroolbark, VIC. You will provide 2:1 support within a Supported Independent Living setting, assisting with daily living activities, personal care and documentation.

The role requires implementing behaviour support strategies and maintaining safety, with roster flexibility for mornings, evenings, and sleepovers. The successful candidate will have experience with complex behaviours of concern, current driver’s

Qualifications

• Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours of concern.
• Experience with full personal care and medication administration.
• Calm, resilient, professional in challenging situations.
• Ability to implement behaviour support plans and follow routines.
• Strong documentation, communication and decision-making skills.
• Collaborative team player; SIL experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2:1 support in a SIL setting.
• Assist with daily living activities and clinical care.
• Document support provided accurately and escalate concerns as needed.
• Follow established routines and behaviour support plans.
