Job summary

West End Support Services is seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our Ballarat team for Sleepover positions. This role supports participants to live as independently as possible while ensuring safety and wellbeing, including overnight sleepovers.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, mealtime support, and documentation, working across SIL & SDA services with a rotating roster and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disability.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Ability to work across rotating sleepover roster.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living and independence.
• Assist with personal care (showering, dressing, toileting).
• Provide mealtime support and medication assistance.
• Maintain accurate progress notes.
• Overnight sleepover support to ensure safety.

West End Support Services has proudly supported the Ballarat community since 2017, delivering personalised, high-quality supports that promote dignity, independence, and inclusion.

We are currently seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) & Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) services.

This positionis for SLEEPOVER SHIFTS including every second weekend. You must have full availability for sleepovers to be considered.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will support participants to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting participants with daily living and independent living skills
• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, toileting)
• Providing mealtime support and medication assistance
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date progress notes
• Overnight support (sleepovers) to ensure participant safety and wellbeing

About You

• Availability to work across a rotating roster including both sleepover shifts and alternate weekend work.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Confidence using online systems and following procedures
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training

Essential Requirements:
