Job summary

Steadway is seeking immediate SIL house support workers in Newcastle, NSW. Applicants should have a minimum of 3+ years of active experience and experience with disabilities or complex care needs.

You will perform manual handling, medication administration and personal care. Relevant certificates (Cert III/IV in supports, disability or aged care) are required; pay rates depend on experience and qualifications held.

Qualifications

• Safety and infection control awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with manual handling and transfers for clients.
• Administer medications as trained.
• Provide personal care for showering and toileting.
