Job summary

Multitask Human Resource Foundation Ltd in NSW is seeking a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of Multitask residences in the Northern Rivers region. The role blends administration, supervision and direct disability support tasks, with a focus on person-centered practice.

The position offers Level 4 of the SCHCDS Award at $46.70 per hour, with 76 hours per fortnight over 12 months, and salary sacrifice options typical of not-for-profit organisations.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV Disability Services or equivalent.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Current NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a diverse team.
• Problem-solving, initiative and autonomous work style.
• Experience supervising staff and staff development.
• Experience supporting people in personal care, health, wellbeing and community participation.
• Administrative ability including budgeting, rostering and records.
• Knowledge of person-centred planning, active support and relevant standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Balance administration, supervision and direct disability support duties.
• Supervise staff, implement training and monitor performance.
• Budget management, rostering and maintenance of records.
• Support personal care, health and wellbeing of clients.
• Facilitate active community participation and skill development.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and NDIS Practice Standards.
• Utilise time effectively and work autonomously with team collaboration.
