Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Signwriter and Installer role based in Maitland, NSW. The role involves producing high-quality signs, including vinyl graphics, wide-format prints, vehicle graphics, and other custom signage, following design specifications and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include preparing artwork files, operating printing and cutting equipment, applying graphics to various substrates, and installing signage on vehicles, buildings, and other structures. The Signwriter and Installer will manage workflows, ensure accurate measurements, maintain safe work practices, and communicate with team members and clients to meet deadlines and quality standards. The role may also involve assisting with site surveys, basic design adjustments, and occasional customer service support in the showroom or on-site.

Qualifications

• Signwriting and installation skills, including experience with vinyl application, vehicle graphics, and general signage production.
• Competence with basic design and layout, preferably using software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar tools.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools, ladders, and installation equipment, with a strong focus on workplace safety.
• Good practical skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting signage accurately, with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for installations and site visits.
