Job summary

Signs National Group is seeking a Signage Manufacturing & Installation Assistant to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Based in Smeaton Grange, NSW 2567, this role supports manufacturing and installation of high-quality signage for a diverse client base.

You will work alongside experienced team members to develop practical skills in fabrication, assembly and installation, while upholding health and safety standards and delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• A keen interest in manufacturing, fabrication or installation work within the signage, construction or related industries.
• Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights where required.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Strong health and safety awareness and willingness to comply with workplace safety requirements.
• Reliable attendance and a professional approach to work.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
• A valid white card and driver's licence
• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or installation is preferred but not essential for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacturing and fabrication of signage products, including cutting, shaping, and assembly of materials
• Support the preparation of materials and components for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Assist in the installation and positioning of completed signage at client locations
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements
• Assist with the loading, unloading and transportation of materials and completed signage
• Contribute to general maintenance of tools, equipment and workshop facilities
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and workplace guidelines
