Job summary

Merivale is a family-owned hospitality group with over 90 venues across Australia, seeking experienced Cocktail Bartenders to join our teams across a range of venues. You will bring strong cocktail knowledge, pride in your drinks, and a welcoming approach as you engage guests and guide them through our drinks menu.

In this role, you’ll balance speed and quality during busy service, keep the bar well-stocked and clean, and work closely with the venue team to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous cocktail bartending experience in a busy bar or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits and preparation techniques.
• Ability to balance speed and quality during busy service.
• Friendly, confident approach and willingness to support your team.
• Interest in developing drinks knowledge and learning new skills.
• Current NSW RSA and availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classic and signature cocktails with consistency, care and pace.
• Guide guests through the drink’s menu with confident, personalised recommendations.
• Stay on top of bar preparation, stock and presentation throughout service.
• Work closely with the wider venue team to keep service running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organised bar and uphold responsible service standards.
