Job summary

Mondiale VGL in Sydney is seeking an experienced transport allocator to join our global logistics team. You will plan driver workloads, allocate daily runs, and ensure on-time deliveries across our road, freight, and distribution operations.

You will monitor driver progress in real time, communicate changes to customers by phone and email, and maintain accurate container records. A background in side-loader operations and fatigue policy compliance is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in transport allocation or dispatch within road transport or freight distribution.
• Experience allocating drivers/jobs in high-volume, time-pressured operations.
• Experience with side loader/container operations and empty container (dehire) management is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate drivers' morning workloads from run sheets and orders.
• Track driver progress in real time to ensure seamless handoffs.
• Confirm driver start times by radio and log them daily.
• Keep customers informed of delivery status by phone and email.
• Maintain container delivery records and manage dehire/returns.
• Enforce Mondiale VGL's Driver Fatigue Policy and flag dangerous goods.
