Job summary

TransWest is hiring a Road Supervisor to lead a team of 20+ drivers and shuttle staff. You’ll ensure safe, timely shuttle operations from pull-out to route completion, manage fleet movement with the Operations Manager, and oversee driver coaching and certifications.

You’ll drive regulatory compliance and quality service in a dynamic transportation setting. Ideal candidates bring CDL A/B, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role.
• 2+ years of driving experience with vehicles 10,000 GVWR or greater.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or training drivers.
• Strong defensive driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA safety and compliance requirements.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to document incidents and training outcomes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line supervision to drivers and staff for the Shuttle Transportation Program.
• Ensure shuttle routes start on time and service remains safe and efficient.
• Assign vehicles, maintain signage, and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager on fleet movement and repairs.
• Oversee fleet of 20+ shuttle vehicles and scheduling for repairs.
• Oversee driver recruitment, onboarding, and training programs.
• Coordinate safety orientation and ongoing driver training.
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and follow up.
