Job summary

PLS is seeking a Shutdown Coordinator to join our Perth/Pilbara operations on a FIFO 8/6 roster. You will coordinate maintenance shutdown planning, manage resources, materials, tooling and equipment, and work with planners and supervisors to ensure safe, on-time outages.

Ideal candidates have mining maintenance planning experience, strong safety knowledge, and proficient use of Pronto and MS Office. WA C-class licence required; trade/engineering background desired.

Qualifications

• Mining industry experience in maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of statutory safety requirements.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Effective communication in dynamic team environments.
• Proficient with Pronto and MS Office.
• WA C-class driver's licence.
• Trade or engineering qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope for outages across mechanical, electrical & site services.
• Assist with scheduling tasks for planned outages and condition monitoring.
• Support cost forecasting and outage scope approvals.
• Prepare shutdown work packs and QA data.
• Provide clear job instructions to shutdown teams and contractors.
• Monitor budget spend and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with planners and supervisors to optimise shutdowns.
