Job summary

KAEFER Integrated Services seeks experienced Boilermakers for a shutdown in the Bowen Basin. Duration: 26th Oct 2026 through to late Nov/ early Dec. Work includes CHPP maintenance, repair activities and support for coal handling scopes.

Local to the Bowen Basin preferred; meals and accommodation provided while working (not on weekends). DIDO to Moranbah from surrounding areas, with a 4x12 hour roster then a 10 hour day to travel home.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in fabrication required.
• Experience with CHPP maintenance and shutdown work is preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a high‑hazard environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute CHPP maintenance and repair activities safely and efficiently.
• Support shutdown scopes including clean coal, raw coal and thickener works.
• Collaborate with multi‑disc teams to meet daily targets and uphold site standards.
• DIDO to Moranbah from surrounding areas.

KAEFER Integrated Services is currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to work on an upcoming Shutdown we have in the Bowen Basin.

Duration: 26th October 2026 through to late November/ early December.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Execute CHPP maintenance and repair activities safely and efficiently
• Support shutdown scopes including clean coal, raw coal and thickener works
• Collaborate with multi‑disc teams to meet daily targets and uphold site standards
• DIDO to Moranbah from surrounding areas
• Meals and accommodation provided while working (not on weekends)
• Monday to Friday roster, 4x12 hour days then a 10 hour day so you can travel home
