Job summary

Qube Holdings in Queensland seeks an experienced SHS Advisor to develop, implement, and oversee health, safety, and compliance programs for Dangerous Goods transport. You will work with drivers, operations, and management to foster a safety-focused culture and ensure regulatory adherence.

The role requires a strong safety background in heavy transport, site risk assessment, incident investigation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across the Qube Bulk division.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in mining or heavy transport with NHVR knowledge.
• Safety qualification from a tertiary institution (minimum Cert IV WHS).
• Strong understanding of safety within heavy transport and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure risk assessments cover operations, mining activities, and work practices.
• Develop site and task-specific risk assessments, procedures, and work instructions.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare investigation reports.
• Conduct site SHS compliance inspections and audits.
• Assist with Workers' Compensation claims and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide SHS guidance during client meetings and site KPI reviews.
