Job summary

JB Hi-Fi Group is seeking a part-time Sales Consultant for our Fyshwick showroom to help customers create dream kitchens, bathrooms and laundries. You will deliver first-class service by pairing deep product knowledge with tailored solutions for every customer who walks through our doors.

This permanent role requires 3–4 days per week (max 0.8FTE) with regular weekend work. We are also open to applicants seeking full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Genuine ability to connect with people and guide them through purchases.
• Proven aptitude for identifying opportunities and driving sales outcomes.
• Experience in customer-focused roles such as retail, real estate, automotive, travel, etc.
• Strong self-management: prioritising, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand needs and recommend kitchen, bathroom and laundry solutions.
• Manage the customer journey end-to-end—from quotation to sale, coordinating delivery and installation, and following up for satisfaction.
• Build and maintain exceptional customer relationships to create customers for life.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge through training and support.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment and have fun along the way.
