Job summary

Amadeus Group in Brisbane is seeking a Sales Support / Administration Officer to join the Fortitude Valley showroom and admin team. This full-time, permanent role blends hands-on customer engagement with essential back-office duties.

You will guide customers through flooring and window furnishing products, assist with quotes and orders, and ensure the showroom remains inviting and well‑presented.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales support, administration, showroom or retail environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and approachable manner
• A genuine passion for customer service and the ability to build positive customer relationships
• Ability to multitask and prioritise competing tasks in a busy showroom environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support the broader team

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the showroom and admin team
• Welcome customers and guide them through the extensive range of flooring and window furnishing products
• Understand customer requirements and provide tailored product recommendations and practical design advice
• Prepare accurate customer quotes and proactively follow up after showroom visits
• Assist with order processing, customer records and general office administration
• Manage incoming phone calls, emails and customer enquiries
• Maintain a clean, organised and inviting showroom, ensuring displays and product samples are presented to a high standard
