GlobeWest Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a proactive Showroom Consultant to deliver exceptional customer experiences and provide expert furniture and homeware advice. You will engage clients seeking tailored solutions for projects and homes, and operate in a fast-paced showroom from Tuesday to Saturday.

You should have interior design qualifications, strong sales performance history and excellent communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales/retail with background in interior design.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
• Strong administrative and computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain showroom presentation of contemporary products.
• Meet and greet clients for a professional sales experience.
• Develop trust and deliver excellence in client service throughout the experience.
• Guide clients through options while understanding and meeting their needs.
• Create outcomes with design flair and deliver the best possible experience.
• Perform administrative duties including quotes and data input and follow-up.

Established in 2004, GlobeWest is at the forefront of designing, importing and wholesaling beautiful and 'on trend' contemporary furniture and homewares. GlobeWest is focused on building a long term, sustainable business and achieving a leading position in the market.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the State Showroom Manager, this Showroom Consultant role will deliver exceptional customer experience to provide expertise on our client's furniture, and homewares. If you are proactive and able to multi task you would be a suitable cultural fit for our fast-paced showroom. You will work with clients who are seeking expert advice on tailored solutions for projects and homes. This is a Tuesday to Saturday role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of showroom presentation that showcase our contemporary products
• Meet & greet clients that come into the showroom providing a professional sales experience
• Develop trust and deliver excellence in client service through the entire client service experience
• Being client centric you will walk the client through their options while understanding and meeting their needs
• Create amazing outcomes for clients with your design and creative flair delivering the best possible experience
• Perform administrative duties including answering phones, providing quotes and data input to ensure that follow up and service excellence is maintained

About You

You are confident, have a flair for style and have excellent interpersonal skills. You have experience in sales/retail with a background in interior design. You must be able to work Saturdays. You are able to create and deliver design advice & solutions.

Additionally, you will have:

• Interior Design qualification and experience
• Sales and results orientated with proven experience in meeting KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
• Strong administrative and computer skills (MSWord, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel)
