Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced Short Term Maintenance Planner for Batchfire Callide Mine to support the MARC contract. You will coordinate priorities, resources and the schedule to keep heavy equipment available and productive on site.

The role requires a trade qualification in heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance, strong planning and excellent communication skills, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance in a mining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Trade qualification in heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of mine-site safety and environmental requirements.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Familiarity with SAP, Dynamics AX and related maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead short-term maintenance planning and scheduling across the site fleet.
• Coordinate labour, parts, subcontractors and resources to meet contract needs.
• Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with MARC requirements.
• Collaborate with trades, supervisors and customer teams to resolve issues.
