SeaLink Marine and Tourism, part of the Kelsian Group, is seeking a permanent full-time Maintenance role to support the Maintenance Technical Manager. Exciting new opportunity to support the new Kangaroo Island Ferry Service
A permanent full-time role to support the Maintenance Technical Manager and land-based team to provide a continuous, reliable transport service to and from Kangaroo Island. We require a person with a broad skill base, preferably in the marine maintenance field, with a diesel fitter/mechanical or trade background and who lives on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Flexibility with hours will be available and supported, including TOIL, during specific times, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and tight maintenance schedules.
This role reports to the Maintenance Technical Manager and is part of the shore-based maintenance team working primarily from our Cape Jervis location. There will be some travel required to Penneshaw (KI).
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your experience in a similar role with the ability to provide a high quality of work, preferably in the Marine Industry. You will often work unsupervised therefore initiative and motivation will be key. Results driven with a ‘can-do’ attitude, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work schedules, is essential to ensure the continuality of our ferry service.
